In terms of it falling off - it would not be a problem as long as you are not going to be revving the motors in the air without them touching the ground over a longer period of time.
It would not come off during cornering as the rubber is stretched so it holds on the rim.
The bigger concern is driving on solids 50 mph - you would need practice for that as obviously there will be less grip.
