The NOSFET XENO Has Landed — We Rode It First

2026-06-23

The NOSFET XENO has arrived — and as the UK's authorised NOSFET distributor, Escooter Clinic is the first to bring you the full picture. We've had this wheel in our hands, ridden it through our workshop team, and put it through its paces before anyone else in the UK. If you want to know what the XENO actually is, how it actually rides, and whether it's the right wheel for you — this is where to start.

NOSFET XENO Electric Unicycle — Beyond the Ordinary

What the NOSFET XENO Actually Is

NOSFET XENO electric unicycle specifications

The XENO is NOSFET's latest electric unicycle — a 20-inch all-terrain EUC that marks a clear shift in direction for the brand. Where the AERO pushed boundaries on high-voltage performance, the XENO asks a different question: what does the best-riding everyday EUC look like? The answer is a wheel built around premium range, confident all-terrain handling, and a visual identity that stands completely apart.

It runs a 2500W lightweight motor with a 110km/h free spin speed, carries a 2200Wh Samsung 50S battery for up to 110km of estimated range, and sits on 90mm of bidirectional RFLOXA suspension with tool-free adjustment. At 33kg — 2kg lighter than the Begode Patton S and KingSong S22 — it's been tuned by NOSFET to ride like a wheel that weighs considerably less. This is not a performance weapon. It's a premium everyday EUC, and it's excellent at what it is.

How the NOSFET XENO Rides: Tuned to Feel Lighter Than It Is

The standout impression after the first ride is simple: the XENO feels far nimbler than a 33kg 20-inch wheel should. NOSFET specifically tuned the XENO for agile, responsive handling — and it delivers. The 20-inch wheel diameter smooths out road imperfections that a smaller wheel would amplify, while the RFLOXA suspension handles everything the wheel alone can't. On tarmac it feels planted and precise. On gravel and loose surfaces it stays composed. Through dips and kerbs the suspension absorbs impact without unsettling the platform.

"The XENO is awesome to ride — nimble and agile. They've tuned it so it rides like a much lighter wheel, despite being a 20-inch."

— ESC Workshop Team, after first ride session

The RFLOXA suspension — the same proven bidirectional symmetrical architecture from the AERO and AEON — is immediately familiar and reliable. New for the XENO: tool-free rebound and compression adjustment. You can tune the feel by hand in seconds without carrying tools, which for a wheel built around everyday riding is exactly the kind of refinement that matters when your terrain changes day to day.

Range and Battery in Real-World Use

NOSFET XENO 2200Wh Samsung 50S battery

The XENO's 2200Wh Samsung 50S battery is one of the largest packs available in this class. The estimated range is 110km — a figure NOSFET backs up with real-world testing: 103.4km with an 80kg rider at a 35.8km/h average. That's a number that holds up in the kind of mixed daily riding most people actually do, and gives long-distance riders genuine one-charge confidence.

Samsung 50S cells are among the most established in the EUC world — trusted for consistent energy output, thermal stability, and long cycle life. The XENO's Smart BMS adds six-layer protection across short circuit, overcurrent, overcharge, over-discharge, temperature monitoring and voltage anomalies, running silently in the background on every ride.

Charging is handled by the included 126V 5A charger — full charge takes approximately 5 hours, making overnight charging the natural routine for most riders. OTA firmware update support means the XENO's performance profile can be refined over time without a workshop visit.

NOSFET XENO vs NOSFET AEON — Which One Is Right for You?

Both are premium NOSFET EUCs with the same RFLOXA suspension DNA and IPX6 waterproofing. But they're built around different priorities. Here's a direct comparison:

Design, Details & Everyday Usability

The XENO's silhouette is unlike anything else in the EUC category — deliberately asymmetric, precision-machined from lightweight magnesium alloy, and built to look as considered as it rides. The exposed structural top cover reveals the internal architecture rather than hiding it, and has become one of the most talked-about details among riders who've seen it in person.

"The new top cover is really futuristic — great for those who like the look of tech, since it exposes the internals."

— ESC Workshop Team

Lighting matches the premium aesthetic. The projector-style headlight takes cues from automotive design — a precision lens and focused beam for night riding. At the rear, a customisable RGB blade with 180° field of view creates a safety halo that's visible from wide angles. Both systems are IPX6 waterproof.

Practical details are equally well considered. The new two-piece mudguard actively channels water and debris away from the controller base under suspension compression — a meaningful improvement over the AERO and AEON in wet conditions. The springless 4-in-1 trolley handle locks automatically at its highest position and stays there when released. The patented modular pedal system ships with both Large and Small nylon covers in the box so you can choose your stance from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the XENO suitable for beginners?
The XENO is a premium 20-inch suspension EUC — not an entry-level wheel. We'd recommend solid intermediate EUC experience before stepping up to any suspension 20-inch. That said, the XENO's tuning is notably forgiving compared to high-voltage performance wheels. If you're unsure whether you're ready, talk to our team before buying.

How does the XENO compare to the NOSFET AEON?
The AEON runs a higher-voltage 151.2V controller for more aggressive power delivery and weighs 29kg. The XENO carries a far larger battery (2200Wh vs 1300Wh), has a longer estimated range, and is tuned for all-terrain comfort and daily riding. If range and ride feel are your priorities, the XENO. If high-voltage punch and lighter weight matter more, the AEON.

What tyre options are available?
At launch: TNT Street and TNT Off-Road (80/90-14). NOSFET's exclusively developed TNT Hybrid — designed specifically for the XENO — is arriving very soon. Note that not all 80/90-14 tyres are compatible due to the XENO's tighter rim opening; stick to NOSFET-approved options.

Can I use AEON or AERO accessories on the XENO?
Pedals are the same as the AEON. The trolley handle is a new XENO-specific design and is not compatible with AERO or AEON handles.

Can I finance the NOSFET XENO?
Yes. Use our Humm instalment plan to spread the cost with fast approval and flexible terms.
